Today is publication day for the Portuguese translation of my first novel, Mr Cavell’s Diamond, by Brazilian publisher Leabhar Books. I’m really excited to see how this one does – the publisher tells me there’s a real demand for Regency novels in Brazil!
Here’s the cover they made for it. It’s not quite Worthing but I love the mysterious house by the sea.
You can buy the novel here in Portuguese, or here in English!
A very nice cover!
Yes, I like it too!
How strange, Kath – that’s the image of the house for the cover of my new full length Scottish novel coming out in autumn, though nothing else is the same! Good to meet you again at the conference this year.
Oh! Leabhar Books and your publisher must have used the same image library! This happened to me before – the original cover for The Emerald Comb used an image I saw on another book, although my publisher had changed the colour of the girl’s dress. I think for exclusive use of an image they have to pay more.
