This proved to be an excellent book. I particularly like the explanation of three different types of ghost stories, as this is a very good grounding on which to start one’s first atttempt. You also mention that a ghost can be given a specific power (for the purpose of the story, that is) but not to go over the top with this element.
It cost little and was crammed with really good stuff. Thanks for that, Kath.
Denise Watson.
Denise, thank you for those lovely comments! I am glad you enjoyed the book. There’s another, in a similar format, in the pipeline which I am aiming to publish very soon.
And it’s now published and linked above!
Having bought Ghost Stories and How to Write Them and found it so informative and – as Denise says – crammed with really good stuff I bought Short Stories and How to Write Them. I was not disappointed. Brilliant tutorial and again crammed with really good stuff. If you haven’t already got these – get them :o) x
Thank you, Sue! If you have a moment, why not leave an Amazon review?
